Jensen Interceptor MKIII — side profile
Side profile — the flowing lines of Carrozzeria Touring.

A 1972 Jensen Interceptor MKIII in fine driver's condition — Silver over black leather, with the character of a car that has lived, and lives on.

The Interceptor was introduced in 1966 as the flagship of Jensen Motors of West Bromwich — an all-new design by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring, far ahead of its time. With the launch of the MKIII in 1971, Jensen was at the top of its game: more luxurious, more powerful and more refined than ever before.

The car sits in the HooG Selections showroom in Katwijk, the Netherlands. Maintenance documentation and a paint-depth report are available, and the team — with its in-house workshop — remains at your service after the purchase.

02 — The machine

Seven point two litres.
Eight cylinders.

Under the bonnet beats the 7.2-litre Chrysler V8 — the famous “440 cubic inch”. A deep burble, a smooth idle, and a tidal wave of torque from the lightest touch of the throttle. The automatic lets the Interceptor glide down the road, relaxed.
